My no. 1 fun fact, is that I hate “fun facts” ice breakers, mostly because I’m an overthinker and never know what’s actually fun to share about myself. But here’s a list of the things I guess you should probably know:
Midwest Roots 🌽
I grew up in the Midwest and still get unreasonably excited about cornfields in the fall. No matter where I live, it always feels like home
Married to Medicine 💍
Married life right now = supporting a husband in medical training and living on hospital schedules. (We are temporarily living in Denver for my husbands fellowship year).
Dog Mom to Fredrick & Dodger 🐾
Our two pups are the heart of our home. Fredrick is the OG good boy—fetch obsessed, always ready for zoomies. Dodger is the chaotic little brother—dramatic, needy, and knows he’s the star of the show. Together, they’ve become my unexpected creative outlet on TikTok, Instagram, and Pinterest.
I learned how to cook in 2020 🥑
I’ve tried more meal kits than I can count, still chasing the “easy dinner” dream. Trader Joe’s snacks basically keep us alive. Reviews to come. I only started cooking in 2020 out of necessity. Still learning.

The Bigger Stuff ✨
I’m a school psychologist by training, and practiced in the K-12 setting for 7 years, I now work in Higher Education. I’m also navigating TTC with stage 4 endometriosis, which has shaped this season of life in ways I didn’t expect. Faith is something I’m leaning into more deeply, I’m in the process of converting to Catholicism. My journey has been messy and imperfect, but I’m slowly but surely “figuring it out” whatever that’s supposed to mean.
Why I’m Here 💻
Is blogging still even a “thing” in 2025, I’m not sure, but I needed a creative outlet, and I’m not very crafty. So here we are, blogging felt like the right fit. I have thought about creating/writing a blog for the last several years, but just never made the leap. I think I finally have the “time” and the drive to do it.
